The second day of our trip we went on was my personal favorite hike, Bear Trail Hike at Rocky National Park. The views were GLORIOUS. There's a LOT of pictures in today's blog. BUT I think think that's the closest way to indirectly experience it. ;) Take a look:

This is a picture of one of the rivers on the trail.

There were three lakes on the trail: Emerald Lake, blah and blah. The first lake is at the top, Emerald lake is the picture on the top right corner and the second lake is on the far top left corner.

ALSO, look at that adorable little elk with the white butt. If I'm being completely honest...I thought it was a moose at first (whoops)

The weather was BEAUTIFUL today. There was even some snow left on the ground from the crazy snow storm the week before! What a blessing that we didn't hit that. Many of the trails would have been closed because of it.

Of course...there's footage of me being a potato in the snow:

We ended the day with a nice dinner at this restaurant called Bird and Jim. The food was DELICIOUS (a lil' more on the pricy side, but worth it). I got the Pasta Elvira with grilled chicken.

Annd...the Thai bo plush pic of the day:
