General Marketing:

Create, edit and update online and offline projects including but not limited to: corporate website, social media accounts, packaging, trade show signage, sales presentations, banner ads, brochures, multimedia, E-Commerce, marketing campaigns, graphic content, product announcements, lead generation and maintenance.

Digital Marketing: Manage the marketing effort that exists online. Including search engines, social media, company websites, email, blogs, and online advertisements.

Marketing Communications: Responsible for acting as the megaphone for the company message. Enhance a company’s visibility in the market — to customers, the public, the media, and eventually to investors. Responsible for organizing and synchronizing multiple resources for marketing events, advertising, messaging efforts and more.

Brand Marketing: Serves as brand ambassador for IMT at trade shows and additional events. Responsible for ensuring that the company and its products are associated with the right message.

Pitches: Strategically crafting email and phone pitches in oder to connect with trade publications for a feature of the company's goals and innovations in the ophthalmic industry.

Cultivates relationships with consumers and establish trust among target audience through consistent communication and corporate outreach.

Develops PR campaigns using the RACE model to achieve stated goals and objectives by using strategic strategies and tactics, evaluating end results and taking given data into consideration for future campaigns.

Continually create a variety of media, including blog posts, videos, newsletters, and landing pages. Reinforce information about the product or service, geared towards the target audience by understanding who IMT is and discovering which types of messages the audience will be most receptive to in which mediums.

Design and develop an efficient WordPress website, manage social media accounts and sync Ecommerce functions to effectively increase audience reach and engagement, as well as cater to business and consumer needs.

Assisted development of new logo and slogan to attract target audience and improve branding.

Support online presence strategies by creating content and coding the business website through SEO plugins on Wordpress.

Implemented tactics for Inbound “permission” Marketing: Attracted a qualified target audience to IMT products or company by creating content that potential customers will want to engage with and share. The goal is for the customer to reach out to the company for more information or to make a purchase. Examples include creating blogs, videos, and social media campaigns, as well as performing activities related to search engine optimization (SEO) like keyword analysis.

President, KSU Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA)

Assisted Kennesaw PRSSA chapter in increasing membership by 35% when comparing Fall 2020 (20 members) to Fall 2021 (27 members), including 3 graduate students.
Participated in PRSSA/PRSA “Themed” Months:
Ethics Month -Sept. 27 Chapter Meeting “Ethics During a Crisis”
• Mary York, York Public Relations -PRSA/PRSSA Month Oct. 11 Chapter Meeting “Hidden PR”
Implemented several development/improvement initiatives:
1. increased Chapter leadership (e-board and committees) from five to 20 members, hosted hybrid Chapter meetings (virtual and in-person)
2. Hosted Resume Review Event for dues-paid members with PRSA Georgia’s College Relations Committee.
3. Hosted a professional headshot fundraising event for members and nonmembers.
Participated in the following national initiatives:
1. Collaborated with Reimagined PR, a co-op of 10 PRSSA chapters, to produce online programming for all PRSSA Chapters across the nation and internationally
2. Attended PRSSA focus group: 2021 CPRE virtual Summit, September 9th, 2021
3. Attended online training hosted by PRSA and PRSSA National: PRSA Technology Section Conference, November 03, 2021 and PRSSA Chapter Development Sessions - September 22, 2021
• Co-Hosted Georgia PRSSA Executive Board Meetup (with PRSA Georgia CRC) for chapter executives to connect and brainstorm how they each can enhance their Chapters. Eight of 10 active Georgia PRSSA chapters attended the event.
Generated growth of more than 100 students to its membership interest directory and recruited/renewed 27 members through the chapter tactics below:
• 18 Class Visits
• Tabling at campus events: EXTREME Student Involvement Fairs, Marietta & Kennesaw Campus
• Social media engagement through Kennesaw PRSSA Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn channels
• Collaborated with faculty to promote chapter awareness and recruitment
• Featured 15 industry professionals as guest speakers for chapter meeting
