Today I figured out what altitude sickness felt like and I personally don't recommend it.
Deer Mountain Trail
For the last day at the Rocky Mountain National Park we planned to hike up Deer Mountain Trail. The elevation on this trail was over 10,000 ft and beans—I felt every ft! I've realized I definitely have to do some elevation training, but the views were worth it!

The trail was about the same length as Bear Trail (6 miles), but the climb was significantly steeper. I'm having high expectations for my legs to be the best they've ever been after this trip!
As soon as we saw the view, OF COURSE we had to have a photoshoot.
I think I liked Bear Lake Trail a little better because we were closer to the mountains, but Deer Mountain Park still had gorgeous views, they were just farther away.
