Colorado to Utah - Day 4

Alrighty, 1 National park down, 8 more to go. Today we packed up everything and left the adorable cottage (probably my favorite place so far) and headed to our next destination — Moab, Utah. On the way we went through Trail Ridge Road through Rocky Mountain National Park and stopped at the Grand Lake Lodge.

Look at these groundhog-looking things! They're actually a type of squirrel called a Marmot. THEY'RE SO CUTE.

Grand Lake Lodge

We ate lunch at the Grand Lake Lodge, which the food was delicious! I took some pictures of the lovely flower beds at the lodge.

Most of the day consisted of driving, but take a LOOK at these views on the way (I felt bad falling asleep because I thought I might miss some of it). We stopped by Colorado's National Monument on the way, which was an hour drive! (We didn't do the whole thing though.)

I totally recommend it if you have the time!
